Do you film your FS team? We want to hear from you!

Formula Student 2010 will be held on Thursday 15 - Sunday 18 July 2010 at Silverstone Circuit. 

Spectators:

The event will be open to the public, free of charge, on Saturday 17 - Sunday 18 July. Entrance to the event will be signposted from the main entrance and there will be a designated car park (free) for spectators. As well as watching the cars undergo a series of dynamic tests, including Acceleration, Sprint, Skid-pan and the Endurance event, you will be able to look around the paddock and see the teams in the garages. There is no need to register in advance. Teams are welcome to bring guests on Thursday 15 and Friday 16 July but they will not be issued with a badge and do not need to register or pay.

Media Accreditation:

Journalists are welcome to film/take photographs on the track but they MUST bring with them official work identification, which is to be shown to the Clerk of the Course before entering the track. Students and other university teams will not be able to film on track unless they have this identification which will be approved by the IMechE Press Office. All other groups will be welcome to take photos/film off track.

Fuel Suppliers:

Shell will be providing the fuel for the 2010 competition.
Two fuels will be provided: Shell V Power and E85.

Technical Information:

Teams need to leave a 20cm square space on the front of their cars for the technical scrutineering sticker, once the car has passed.

Withdrawing Teams:

Teams wishing to bring their car to the 2011 competition should not compete in any of the 2010 static or dynamic events.

Track Layouts:

The track layout for 2010 has not been confirmed yet but the layout
is expected to be similar to that of 2009. We do not keep track data but you can view the 2008 Sprint , Endurance and Site Plan .
