SEFs - The basics that must be covered

SEF Form - Formula Student Version
This form must be included with your reportThe SEF report must be named as follows: Team XXX University Name SEF Rev N.pdf
(XXX = car number and N = the revision number or number of the additional information that is submitted.
The SEF report must include the FS title page (see above document) which conforms to the FSAE rules Appendix 1A, otherwise there is no specified format or page limit for either the Impact Attenuator or the SEF reports. We would suggest a maximum of 5 pages for the Impact Attenuator and 10 pages for the SEF - Arial font, size 10, 1.5 lines. These are guidelines only. 

The Class 1 Cost Event Special Task relates to the manufacture of the brake calliper as shown in the document below. There will be no restrictions at the UK event except the time allowed for this section (15 minutes).  It is up to your team whether you prepare anything in advance but bear in mind that the judges will expect you to be knowledgeable about the task and not to simply refer to web downloads. Your team will be cutoff at the 15 minute time period so make sure you allow time for the judges to ask questions.
