Expenses
Before agreeing to judge at the event please note that it is hoped that all judges will either cover their own expenses, or have them covered by their own company/employer.
This is to keep costs manageable and to help keep FS team registration fees down, hence it will not be possible for IMechE to cover judges expenses, except in particular circumstances for highly-experienced individuals (see the Judge Expenses Policy 2009.pdf).

Ambassadors
Are you interested in promoting engineering?
Ambassadors are volunteers who work with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers to develop awareness and understanding on what engineering is all about.
Also, if you are a young member and you commit 100+ hours a year you are entitled to free training. If you volunteer on Formula Student you are already on your way.
