FS Steering Committee Chairman, Jon Hilton, Flybrid Systems, believes that "one of the key challenges in motorsport is ensuring that a team's resources are correctly directed towards the projects that will make the maximum contribution to success. At the Learn to Win event, teams have an opportunity to inform these key decisions and make the best use of limited student time and budget."

Richard Folkson's Feedback to run a great project

"The Boeing Commandments ": (based on the Boeing 777 project)

1) Targets drive Designs

2) Panic Early

3) No Secrets

4) Data driven decisions

The first means that all decisions should be driven by the teams objectives and targets

The second means treat every part of the project with urgency and do not leave things until later

Third means share information around the team and let others know if you are having problems or running late

Fourth - use data to make design decisions, not opinions or guesses
